Just over a month after his workplace accident, the German racing driver is making a good recovery.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old says, \u201cFortunately, things are getting better. I still can\u2019t do any more than I could at the start, but I\u2019m a bit more mobile.\u201d His injured leg is no longer swollen and he is able to keep reducing his painkiller dosage. During physiotherapy, the muscles around the injury are being treated as effectively as possible. At home, Colin is doing exercises to maintain his fitness level and prepare for the next races.<br \/>\nAfter all, the goal is quite clearly to get back in the race car as soon as possible. Colin will soon be testing the limits of what\u2018s possible in the racing simulator for the first time. \u201cThe next ADAC GT Masters race is at the Salzburgring in early September. There\u2019s a test a week before that, and I\u2019m absolutely determined to be there!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Colin was also at the N\u00fcrburgring race in July, cheering on his razoon \u2013 more than racing team-mates. \u201cOf course, it wasn\u2019t great sitting there and not being able to drive.
