On the North Sea coast, one of Europe\u2018s most spectacular race tracks awaits the razoon \u2013 more than racing pairing of Colin B\u00f6nighausen and Leo Pichler, along with their rivals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe track is significantly more challenging than the Red Bull Ring, not least because it has more than twice as many corners.\u201d These include some spectacular banked corners. The gusty wind and sand blown onto the track from the dunes should not be underestimated, either. \u201cThe track was very dirty during last week\u2019s test,\u201d says Colin. Nevertheless, the Lower Saxony native got to grips with the track well, which is all the more important this time because there will be no additional testing over the race weekend. \u201eWe\u2018ll be getting straight into free practice on Friday,\u201c he says.<\/p>\n<p>The unpredictable weather that Colin experienced during his Porsche Carrera Cup races at Zandvoort is not expected this weekend. With warm temperatures and sunshine forecast, large crowds are anticipated once again. Following their sensational victory in the second race at Spielberg, the Razoon duo are among the favourites, despite being at a disadvantage in Race 1 due to additional ballast. \u201aAs winners of the last race, we have to carry an extra 30 kilos, which makes a noticeable difference. Nevertheless, our Porsche 911 GT3 R should still be competitive.\u2018<\/p>\n<p>The aim is certainly to be the best Porsche, which is an ambitious goal given the strong competition from World Endurance Championship team Pure Rxcing joining as guest starters.
